Now building at Georgia Tech

Strangers today.
Gone tomorrow.

24H is a daily anonymous chat for verified college students. Every day you're placed in a small room with people you've never met. At midnight the room closes, the conversation is deleted, and tomorrow starts fresh.

How it works

One room. One day.
Then it's gone.

  1. 01

    Verify your school email

Sign in with a 6-digit code sent to your @gatech.edu address. Nobody in your room ever sees your name or email.

  2. 02

    Pick today's mode

Group: a room of up to ten. Individual: one-on-one with another student. Join any time of day under a fresh alias, like “Moth” or “Orbit”.

  3. 03

    Talk until midnight

Messages, photos, voice notes, polls and GIFs. At midnight Eastern every room closes, the chat is deleted, and you meet new people tomorrow.

The product

Built like a group chat.
Designed for strangers.

Everything people already love about texting their friends, tuned for a room of people they've never met.

  • Daily drop

One short post a day that sets the tone for your room.

  • Replies, reactions & @mentions

Real conversation, not a wall of messages.

  • Photos & voice notes

Location data is stripped on the phone before anything is sent.

  • Polls & games

Easy ways in for people who'd rather not lead with a message.

  • Presence & typing

See who's here right now, so a room never feels empty.

  • Daily mood

Cooked, locked in, delusional or chilling. Your room sees it.

Why 24H

Social apps forgot how to meet new people.

Group chats are built around people you already know. Feeds are built for an audience. Nothing is built for the person sitting two rows over.

Small rooms, real conversations

Feeds reward performing for a crowd. A room of ten rewards talking. Everyone is visible, and everyone is new.

Verified, not unaccountable

Every account is a confirmed student. People are anonymous to each other, never to moderation.

Nothing piles up

No history, no follower counts, no permanent record. Low stakes make it easier to speak up.

A daily habit by design

Rooms reset every midnight, so there's always a reason to come back tomorrow and see who you'll meet.

Safety

Anonymous to each other.
Accountable to us.

Anonymity only works when people feel safe. Safety was built in from day one, not added later.

  • Students only

Every account is verified with an @gatech.edu address, and users must be 18 or older.

  • Report or block anything

Hold any message to report it or block the sender. A block applies to every future room.

  • Fast moderation

Moderators review every report, aiming to act within 24 hours. A message reported by several people is hidden right away.

  • Photo protections

Location and camera details are removed on the phone. Apple's on-device Sensitive Content Warning blurs nudity when it's turned on.

  • Deletion that's real

When a room closes it stops serving messages immediately, and it's permanently deleted about a day later.

  • No ads, no tracking

We don't sell data, show ads, or use analytics or tracking tools. The business is the product.

Business model

Free to talk.
Premium to stand out.

The core experience is free for every student. Optional App Store subscriptions unlock personalization: choosing your alias, profile colors, chat themes, message effects and personal stats. No ads and no data sales, by design.

Growth

Campus by campus.

We're launching at Georgia Tech first, where the founding team studies. Verification, matching and moderation are designed so new schools can be added one email domain at a time.
